In this itinerary, we bring you closer to Izmir is a city on Turkey’s Aegean coast. Known as Smyrna in antiquity, it was founded by the Greeks, taken over by the Romans and rebuilt by Alexander the Great before becoming part of the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century. Today, its expansive archaeological sites include the Roman Agora of Smyrna, now an open-air museum. The hilltop Kadifekale, or Velvet Castle, built during Alexander’s reign, overlooks the city.

Itinerary

Day 1Izmir

Breakfast in the hotel, Izmir Clock Tower is a historic clock tower located at the Konak Square in the Konak district of İzmir, Turkey. The clock tower was designed by the Levantine French architect Raymond Charles Père and built in 1901 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Abdülhamid II’s accession to the throne, then you can back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 2Izmir

Breakfast in the hotel, then you can go to Kadifekale is the name of the hill located within the urban zone of İzmir, Turkey, as well as being the name of the ancient castle on top of the same hill. Both the hill and the castle were named Pagos in pre-Turkish times and by the local Greeks in modern times, then you can back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 3Izmir

Breakfast in the hotel, then you can visit Izmir Wildlife Park. Large zoo with African, Asian, European & American animals, kids’ play areas & dining, you can go and shopping, then you can back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 4Izmir

Breakfast in the hotel, then you can visit The Izmir Archeology Museum is an archeology museum in Izmir, Turkey, containing a number of artifacts from around the Gulf of Izmir. Most of the artifacts, which include busts, statues, statuettes, tools, and various eating and cooking utensils, come from the Bronze Age, or from the Greek and Roman periods, then you can back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 5Izmir - Antalya

Breakfast in the hotel, then you can visit Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The waterfalls, formed by the recycle station water, are located 12 kilometres north-east of Antalya. They end where the waters of the Lower Düden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea, then you can back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 6Antalya

Day 8Antalya - Bodrum

Breakfast in the hotel, then you can go to The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus or Tomb of Mausolus was a tomb built between 353 and 350 BC at Halicarnassus for Mausolus, a satrap in the Persian Empire, and his sister-wife Artemisia II of Caria. The structure was designed by the Greek architects Satyros and Pythius of Priene, then you can back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 9Bodrum

Day 10Bodrum Last Day

Have your breakfast for the last time in Bodrum until we see you here again. Pack all your luggage. You can check-out from the hotel and if you have any spare time strolling local shops and streets will be a better option for you.
